Nick Fox, Founding Director & Chairman
Nick Fox is a trusted advisor, counselor, and friend to all those he meets along the spiritual path. After a long and prosperous career as a corporate lawyer in Austin, Texas, Nick now spends most of his time at his personal retreat on the Frio River, just north of Leakey, Texas.
In late 2024, Nick formed PO1 to facilitate transformational spiritual experiences by blending indigenous practices and sacred medicines with advanced integration modalities. As the founder and Chairman of Power of One Sanctuary, Nick oversees all aspects of the organization—leading community engagement and outreach efforts, developing key partnerships and strategic alliances, and serving as an experienced facilitator of transformational journeys, ceremonies, and retreats centered around sacred medicines.
Nick’s dream is to cultivate a thriving Power of One Global Alliance—a worldwide network of affiliated spiritual retreat centers—dedicated to advancing the evolution of human consciousness on Earth.
Kari Lustica, Founding Director
Kari is a spiritual advisor and experienced medicine facilitator who leads transformative retreats and sacred ceremonies grounded in ancestral healing, nature-based wisdom, and soul remembrance. A military veteran with a deeply compassionate presence, she brings care, clarity, and strength to the spaces she holds.
Specializing in Bufo ceremonies, Kari supports individuals and groups in reconnecting with their inner truth, accessing deep healing, and awakening to a greater sense of purpose. Guided by intuitive gifts such as prophecy and divine channeling, she offers her work with humility, reverence, and love. She believes in the Power Of One—how a single heart aligned with truth and Spirit can ripple healing far and wide.
Lea Carroll, Founding Director
Lea is a healer’s healer who has been walking the path of energy healing and spiritual guidance since 2013. With a deep reverence for the sacred, she supports both individuals and groups through a tapestry of healing modalities, including Thai massage therapy, sound healing, energy work, breathwork, meditation, crystal healing, therapeutic yoga, and spiritual coaching.
Her presence is nurturing and transformative, and she brings that energy into the sacred spaces she creates — from healing retreats to spiritual journeys — each one designed to awaken, restore, and empower. As a lead facilitator with Power of One, specializing in post-ceremony integration, where true transformation takes root.
With compassion and intuition as her guide, Lea walks alongside others on their soul’s journey. Her work blends somatic movement, breath, hands-on healing, and spiritual insight to offer grounded, heart-led guidance — meeting each person where they are, and holding space for who they are becoming.
Tom Pitts, Facilitator & Facilities Manager
Tom is a shamanic practitioner and the property manager of The Power of One Sanctuary in Leakey. With a background in the Navy and years of experience in service industries, he brings grounded leadership and heartfelt hospitality to every aspect of retreat life. Tom serves through both sacred medicine and sacred space—ensuring the environment itself becomes part of the healing. Using his facilitation skills and experience, his mission is to take the sacred medicines where they are most needed.

Ary is a dedicated practitioner with over a decade of experience in plant medicine and holistic healing. Her offerings include Bufo Alvarius, psilocybin mushrooms, San Pedro, Kambo, therapeutic massage, Reiki, herbal remedies, energy work, and traditional temazcal (sweat lodge) ceremonies.
She facilitates sacred medicine ceremonies that honor indigenous wisdom and create safe, grounded, and heart-centered spaces for healing, transformation, and spiritual connection.
In addition to her healing work, Ary brings the power of music into ceremony by leading songs and playing the guitar, helping participants connect more deeply with the medicine and the collective energy of the group.
Originally from Guadalajara, she offers ceremonies throughout Mexico and is a cherished member of the Power of One Collective, a community devoted to conscious healing and unity.

Emeline is a shamanic practitioner, guide, and space holder dedicated to helping others reconnect with their personal power, purpose, and divine inspiration. Her work integrates sacred plant medicine, sound healing, and somatic practices to support embodied healing, inner union, and spiritual alignment. Initiated in both Q’ero Andean shamanism and the Rose lineage, and grounded in a scientific background, she bridges intellect and intuition in service to anchoring the codes of unity consciousness on Earth. Emeline is committed to holding safe, sacred space for deep transformation through love, presence, and connection to the divine.

Gabriel was born in Hermosillo, Sonora, to Maria Felix Molina, a traditional healer and midwife, and his father, Francisco Colosio, who learned Comcaac magic and shamanism. With the magic of the sea and the desert, Gabriel currently trains shamans and gives lectures and camps on traditional medicine and herbalism.
He has traveled and participated in traditional shamanic knowledge exchanges in several countries, including Australia, Papua New Guinea, Peru, Panama, New Zealand, Mosambique, Africa, Spain, Morocco, Mexico, Japan, etc.

— Michael Manion, Founder of Healing Frontline Heroes.
Michael served 22 years in active duty and reserve service, including a deployment to Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF), and gained valuable experience at multiple duty stations. Following his military career, Michael worked for 8 years as a federal employee with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), where he developed a deep understanding of the challenges faced by veterans within the system.
In 2022, Michael moved to Mexico to study Bufo alvarius under the guidance of Luis Miguel Lopez, an indigenous teacher from the Seri Comcaac Nation. This experience profoundly impacted him, as he realized the healing potential of plant medicines to address mental health crises, particularly among veterans.
Motivated by a vision to bring alternative therapies to those struggling with trauma, addiction, and depression, Michael founded Healing Frontline Heroes to promote plant medicine and share the cultural wisdom of the Seri Comcaac Nation.
In 2025, Michael expanded his mission by establishing the Arizona Warrior Assembly, a plant medicine church focused on supporting veterans, first responders, and those on the spiritual path. His work continues to provide holistic healing opportunities for individuals seeking recovery and personal transformation.
